Not for the dopamine-chasing.

You start in a shack on the edge of town with 100,000 yen. A part-time shift pays 3,000 yen for 30 minutes — and those 30 minutes really take 30 minutes. There is no speed button. The only thing that skips a wait is a gem.

■ Real people live in this town

The houses on the map belong to other players who are playing right now. Talk to them, sign contracts with them, buy and sell land to them. Messages that arrive while you are away are waiting for you when you come back.

■ Work, then rebuild your home

Work, eat to recover stamina, research, rebuild. Housing goes Lv1 to Lv20. Lv6 unlocks a role and founding a company — that is your first goal. From Lv7 you can move to an apartment near the centre, where rent begins.

■ Land

The bank sells empty lots. The more landmarks nearby, the higher the price. Land you own can be listed at your own price and sold to another player.

■ Found a company (from Lv6)

12 industries, one company per player. A single car needs a mine, a steel mill, a parts factory and an auto plant — four separate players. You can never build one alone. Moving goods needs a logistics partner; buying and selling needs a wholesaler.

■ The exchange

Set your own price and quantity. Sell cheap and it clears fast; ask high and you wait.

■ Contracts

Loans, sales, employment, leases. Keep them and your credit rises. Break them and no one deals with you.
